Originally from the east Coast, Megan has been lucky enough to call Colorado her home since 1994. After graduating from Simmons College in Boston, she packed her belongings, her German Shepherd and headed to Colorado. Megan's adventure landed her in Breckenridge where she spent the next 18 years. She married her college sweetheart, Eric Riordan, and helped manage his construction company while raising their two daughters, Kelsey and Eliza.
It was in Breckenridge that Megan's interest in real estate and all the possibilities began. Together she and her husband have built, remodeled and sold several homes. Megan has learned the building process from start to finish. However, her expertise lies in the design process and she has an eye for it! She loves choosing all the finishes; the flooring, cabinets, counter tops, sinks, faucets, hardware, etc. "I love the artistic aspect and creating a flow within a home. It is such a sense of accomplishment when the project is complete and you look at those before and after photos." Megan has always felt confident in her return on investment in real estate in the Rocky Mountains. "The beauty is unsurpassed" and the quality of life in a small mountain town is wonderful! Who wouldn't want to live here?
In 2013, Megan and Eric moved their family to Steamboat Springs. Steamboat appealed to her because of the small town feel combined with a world class ski mountain and the rich ranching community. Megan and her daughters are avid equestrians and Steamboat is a great place for horses and the people who love them. Whether you ride English or Western Steamboat has it all. The house they bought in the Elk River Valley is under construction. Eric and Megan have done a complete renovation and will be thrilled to enjoy their home once it is finished.
Whether it is finding that perfect legacy ranch, a ski-in/ski-out condo, a home on the mountain or if you are thinking of selling your home, whatever your real estate needs are Megan is ready to work for you. Her honesty, dedication and ability to envision the finished project adds to her success.
